How To Connect To A Canon Wireless Printer?

  1. If you are a Windows customer Use the CD that came with the printer and starts the installation. For Mac users Download the manuals and software by selecting “selecting the product” on the PIXMA range page.
  2. The initial screen will appear Then click Next then enter the password in order for the “helper tool” to install.
  3. When you are ready, choose the option between USB and Wireless connection then click. The process will not function when the printer isn’t connected to the power source.
  4. It is set to go. The next step is connecting to the network. Once the “cableless setup” is displayed on your screen press the printer’s WIFI button until the alarm light blinks twice, then release the button.
  5. At this point, you should notice that the light in the blue (WIFI) lamp will be flashing rapidly and it is the power light that’s green on. Be aware that the “network connection” will be temporarily deactivated while setting up.
  6. Then the “licensing agreement for Canon items’ and ‘please let all installation wizard procedures’ should appear on the screen. Click.
  7. The printer’s model as well as its designation (SSID) that the connection has will be displayed in the display. Then, it will complete the setup of the connection. Run a test print.
